Who We Are
Mission Statement
As part of FISH Hospitality, the FISH Hospitality Advocacy Initiative extends FISH Hospitality’s support for homeless families by encouraging government action to make housing affordable and to provide assistance to the homeless. Advocacy members stay informed about housing and homeless issues at the municipal, county, state and federal levels and contact their government representatives to urge them to help meet the housing needs of low-income families. Members also make use of the media as a means for housing advocacy.
Who Can Participate
The Advocacy Initiative welcomes everybody—not only members of the FISH Hospitality congregations but relatives, friends, colleagues, and neighbors as well.
